WI Broadcasters vote to decide debate criteria for this fall's TV debates. Will they continue to exclude 3rd party and independent candidates? ALL candidates on the ballot deserve to debate. YOUR CHOICE, NOT THEIRS!

MIDDLETON, Wis. - Jan. 17, 2024 -- Phil Anderson, Libertarian candidate for the United States Senate in Wisconsin, has submitted a petition to encourage the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association (WBA) Foundation to reconsider their debate criteria for the late 2024 Senate debates leading up to the November election. The foundation board will make its decision at their meeting next week.

In a commitment to open and fair democratic practices, Anderson seeks to ensure that all candidates who qualify to be on the ballot for voters in Wisconsin are given the opportunity to participate in the WBA debates. This move would provide voters with a broader spectrum of voices and perspectives, ultimately strengthening the democratic process.

The petition, accessible online, aims to rally support from Wisconsin residents who believe in a more inclusive and participatory electoral process.

"We firmly believe that every candidate who has earned a spot on the ballot should have the chance to engage with the voters of Wisconsin and present their ideas," said Phil Anderson. "Our campaign is dedicated to promoting these core democratic values."
