In 2018, Phil challenged the Wisconsin Ethics Commission to clarify and improve their interpretation of the existing Wisconsin campaign finance statute, and when they declined to do so, his campaign accepted Bitcoin donations anyway. 

The Federal Elections Commission has clear guidance regarding Bitcoin and other crypto donations, and the Anderson campaign is proud to announce that they are accepting Bitcoin donations for this election cycle.
